He Said Yes You Can Have The Wood.

Here is an revision I did today:

I imagine having firewood to heat my hose in the winter. And recently, several of my neighbor recently cut down a few trees. So I naturally ask if I can have the wood.

The first actually came to my hose to tell me that I can have the wood. The second neighbor, he replied, “NO thanks, we have other plans for the wood”

I was happy with both results… Settling for, what I thought they would say.

Never settle for what I thought they would say

Any time you become aware of a past conversation. Explore how you can revise the conversation. You are revising as you remember, because all memory is actively being imagined as you remember it.

REMEMBER IT DIFFERENTLY

Like my conversation with my second neighbor. For some reason the conversation cam into my awareness today. Thinking, if he said yes, did I need to actually take what any of the cut tree?

Wold it be in my yard or split and stacked in the shed? Probably not so soon.

I began imagining that he said, “Yes, take all that you want” or “You can some. I want some for myself”
